Helping Families Get the Most Out of Tax Time

Make Tax Time Pay News

E4C is pleased to announce the completion of another successful Make Tax Time Pay campaign year.  With the help of over 250 volunteers, 22 community groups, and multiple partners we have helped many low-income people in Edmonton with income tax preparation and benefit application assistance.

E4C’s Make Tax Time Pay is a success because of the committed volunteers that continue to support our program each year.  To thank our volunteers we hosted a Volunteer Appreciation Event on Friday, May 14th, 2010.  We had over half the volunteers in attendance and had a wonderful evening – thank you to everyone who came & shared their stories – it was a true inspiration!

How do we do it?

We partner with our community.

We work with hundreds of caring individuals, community organizations, churches and not for profits that take time to come together and train together to make this program possible.

We would not have the success we do without our partnerships with the City of Edmonton, 2-1-1 (The Support Network), the Government of Alberta, and Canada Revenue Agency – Community Volunteer Income Tax Program.

We greatly value the relationships we have with our partners and always look forward to another great year of taxes, benefits and better communities.
