Our Place offers long-term room and board for 10 women over 18 years of age with long term mental illness and lower income. There is a set monthly fee for room and board. Built especially to meet the needs of women living in a group situation Our Place features 10 private rooms with communal dining, living, and quiet rooms and is wheelchair accessible.
Our Place provides 24 hour staffing to support female tenants as they live in the community. The tenants are assisted in daily living skills such as cooking, diet, personal hygiene, laundry/ housekeeping, problem solving, conflict resolution and budgeting. Staff assistance is also provided with medication monitoring, and will coordinate services with other caregivers involved. Residents are encouraged to attend community based programs and to participate in social and recreational events.
