Our Place
Our Place offers long-term room and board for 10 women over 18 years of age with a history of homelessness and/or mental illness. There is a set monthly fee for room and board. Built especially to meet the needs of women living in a group situation, Our Place features 10 private rooms with communal dining, living, and quiet rooms and is wheelchair accessible.
Our Place provides 24 hour staffing to support female tenants as they live in the community. We do this by assisting, instructing and supervising our clients on a daily basis and in daily living skill development. We focus on areas like cooking, dietary issues, personal hygiene, laundry and housekeeping, problem solving, conflict resolution, budgeting and monitoring medication. Our Place staff also coordinate services with other service providers, provide referrals and focus on the safety and security of the residence and property. Residents are encouraged to attend community based programs and to participate in social and recreational events.
